Dugan and Oleson honored by A-10

Manuel De Backer competed in the U23 men's division of the SPAR European Cross Country Championships, held Sunday in Samorin, Slovakia, on Sunday.

Saint Louis' indoor track and field squads competed at Indiana University's Hoosier Open and Southern Illinois University's Saluki Fast Start meet this weekend.

Alex Oleson was named the men's Field Performer of the Week, while Katie Wissing was tabbed the women's Rookie of the Week.

There were several PRs and school records met at the meet.

Joining the men's team is Stephen Kielhofner (Springfield, Mo./Springfield Catholic). Gabi Kohring (Webster Groves, Mo./Webster Groves) will join the women's program.

Junior concludes impressive season with school-record performance

Ben Naegerwas named to the Atlantic 10 Conference's All-Rookie Team following the 2017 A-10 Championship.

Junior finished in 25:12.3, five seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.

Saturday's meet starts at 9 a.m. (CT) and will be streamed live on the A-10 Digital Network
